Attorney Dismissed from Case

MINOT – The murder trial for Shawnee Krall, 30, Minot, has been halted just days before it was to begin.

Defense attorney Breanna Delorme was granted permission in North-Central District Court this week to be removed from the case with the murder trial set to begin Monday, September 25. Judge Stacy Louser granted the request, which was the ninth attorney that has withdrawn from the case.

Krall is charged with the murder of Allice Quierolo, 29, in December of 2020. Quierolo’s body was found in the trunk of a car. However, Louser ruled that Minot Police failed to properly acquire a search warrant before conducting the search, a ruling later upheld by the North Dakota Supreme Court.

Krall remains held in the Ward County jail on $250,000 bond. No new trial date has been set.
