NARRATIVE:
The Mercury Mountaineer driven by Nicole Roman was westbound on I-94 near MM 285,
approximately 5 miles west of Valley City.
While westbound, Roman left the roadway and the Mercury rolled. Roman was injured in the
crash and transported by Barnes County Ambulance to CHI Hospital – Valley City.
Roman was arrested on scene for misdemeanor driving under the influence. She was also
cited for infraction level violations for possessing marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
