NARRATIVE: Colonel Brandon Solberg announces the promotion of Trooper
Michael L. Brown to Sergeant. Brown attended the Highway Patrol Academy and
graduated June 22, 2018. Following graduation, Trooper Brown was stationed in
Devils Lake as a traffic enforcement trooper where he has since served.
Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math Education with a minor in
Psychology from Mayville State University in 2012. Sgt. Brown will begin his
duties as a regional sergeant August 1, 2023, and will be stationed in the
Northwest Region-Minot.
