The South Prairie High School trapshooting team had the top 5 shooters in the Best of the West trapshoot conducted Saturday at the Minot Gun Club. Incredibly, after 24,000 clay targets were thrown for 238 shooters, South Prairie had three shooters tied for first with 99 of 100 clays broken.
South Prairie shooters as well with 98 and 97, respectively. The remarkable day at the line resulted in a team score (top five shooters) of 492, a school record for coach Wayne Stanley’s impressive program.
