ND High School Anglers Excel

Top 10s in World Finals 

LACROSSE, WISCONSIN – Two high school fishing teams from North Dakota placed very high in the High School Fishing World Championship staged on the Mississippi River. 

Logan and Ryan Bullinger, representing Bismarck Century High School, weighed in three bass totaling 9 pounds, 14 ounces on Saturday, good enough for fifth place in the 393-team field. The winning weight was 10 lbs., 9 oz.

Also crossing the awards stage inside the coveted top ten was Alex Martl and Carson Dewald. They were representing the Jamestown Blue Jays. Their catch was 9 lbs., 3 oz. in the close competition. 

All teams consisted of two fishermen along with a non-fishing boat driver.
