MINOT – Creativity, art, and fun filled Minot this summer with the annual Arts in the Parks hosted by the Minot Area Council of the Arts.
Thursday marked the program’s final event for the summer with performances by Johnny SPUD and Soulshine, along with food trucks, art vendors, bounce houses, and axe throwing.
“It’s open to all ages and it’s a lot of fun,” said Justin Anderson, executive director of the Minot Area Council of the Arts.
“The summer programming has been amazing between Oak Park and Main Street,” said Carrie Evans, Minot city council member. “The variation of music, the different audiences, and demographics that are attending. Justin’s team and volunteers have done an amazing job in providing some really solid and free programming for our community this summer.”
Alyson Hull, Williston, said she loved seeing the artists' work.
"It was a ton of fun, I'm super glad we went," said Hull.
