MINOT — Trinity Health is initiating Code White procedures due to the oncoming blizzard.
The highest level of Code White will be in effect, which means all Trinity Health clinics, physician offices and outpatient health centers in and outside of Minot will be closed on Wednesday – including the CancerCare Center, FirstCare Walk-In Clinic, KeyCare Medical, KeyCare Pharmacy, B&B Northwest Pharmacy and dialysis centers in Minot and Belcourt.
Patients with clinic appointments scheduled for Wednesday are being notified directly to cancel or reschedule. People with emergent health needs may go to the Trinity Emergency/Trauma Center for care. Elective surgeries scheduled Wednesday and Thursday are being rescheduled, except surgeries for patients already in the hospital.
Personnel who are able to report to work should do so safely and contact their immediate supervisors to see where they are most needed. Trinity’s Code White policy is designed to ensure adequate staffing in times of severe weather and to safeguard the security of employees and patients.
The closures will remain in effect until further notice and will be determined as the storm advances. People are encouraged to check Trinity’s Facebook page, @TrinityHealth.ND, or trinityhealth.org for updates.
