WING — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says at approximately 9:20 a.m. Friday a private, single-engine fixed-wing airplane reported engine failure while in flight. The pilot conducted an emergency landing of the aircraft and landed on Highway 14 near mile marker 27 about 6 miles north of Wing.

STERLING — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man died Wednesday evening after losing control of his motorcycle. According to the NDHP, James Michael Lang, 71, was traveling on Highway 10 about a mile and a half west of Sterling when he lost control and crashed around 8:30 p.m. He was not wearing a helmet.
