MINOT—Tractor Supply Company, a retail chain store in Minot, has recently moved locations from 1325 S Broadway to 900 21st Ave SE.
The store’s assistant manager Scott Graff explained, “The building was kind of coming down around us. It was leaking water, it was leaning. The structure wasn’t safe.” Graff said another reason was to have a bigger back area and side lot.
The new building, right off of Highway 2, was built with the intention of being a Tractor Supply store. “It made it more consistent to what other Tractor Supplies are currently at,” said Graff. “So other Tractor Supplies have certain shelving done a certain way, and because of the other building, we had to do a lot more makeshift, while this one, they’re able to set it up, because they built the building specifically around their own planograms.”
Customers in the store had their own opinions on the move. “It’s easier to get in, easier to get out,” said Jerry Sales, Glenburn. “I shop here for everything.”
“It’s way more convenient,” said Caleb Eklund, Burlington. “You can get in here with a truck and a trailer a lot easier.”
