Firearm discharged in southeast Minot mobile home park.


The Minot Police Department was dispatched late in the evening on Aug. 8, 2023,
for reports of gunshots in a southeast Minot mobile home park.
Upon arrival on the scene, officers made initial contact with the victims and
identified the suspect as 21-year-old Bridger Watson, Minot. The victim's report
claims that Watson discharged his firearm in the direction of one of the victims, who
was sitting in a vehicle.
Watson also brandished his firearm in the direction of the second victim, according
to the report. Officers located the firearm and a spent cartridge casing while on
scene, and identified a bullet entrance on the victim’s vehicle.
Officers arrested Watson for one count of Reckless Endangerment (Extreme
Indifference to the Value of Human Life), two counts of terrorizing, and one count of
discharging a firearm within city limits.
The victims did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
