MINOT—Trinity Health begins its first set of clinic moves this week into the new Medical Office Building located on the Healthcare Campus and Medical District in southwest Minot.
After five years of construction and over ten years of planning, the first of many Trinity Health clinics are beginning their preparations to pack and move into their new facilities. The move will begin with clinics closing early in the days before the move to begin packing and will remain closed until opened at the new location.
It is important to note that only the clinics will be moving this week, patients seeking emergency care should continue to seek care at the Trinity Health Hospital in downtown Minot until the announcement is made later this month that the hospital services, including the Emergency Trauma Center, have officially moved.
Trinity Health expected the first clinics to be open and taking patients Monday, April 24. The opening clinics include nephrology, neurosurgery, neurology, pulmonology, cardiothoracic and general surgery, ENT and audiology, orthopedics, urology, cardiology, OB/GYN, podiatry, hand surgery/therapy and gastroenterology.
Some clinics such as rheumatology, infectious disease and certain OB/GYN clinics will not move until later in the month.
More than 13,700 appointments were moved in anticipation of the clinics relocating by more than 100 outpatient clinic staff members. Patients will receive notification that their appointment location has moved by several means such as letters, text messages and patient portal notifications.
Trinity Health would like to remind and emphasize that only clinics will be moving and no emergency care services will be available at the new campus until later in the month. The move of the Emergency Trauma Center will be announced later and those seeking emergency care should continue to seek care at the Trinity Health Hospital location in downtown Minot.
Patients with questions regarding the clinic moves should contact the respective clinic to have those questions answered or visit trinityhealth.org/hcmd.
