NARRATIVE: The Silverado had stopped at the intersection of 33rd Ave NE and US Highway 2 coming from an area near Rugby. The Silverado stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded through the intersection into the median and then began to cross US Highway 2 eastbound lanes. While the Silverado was southbound, a Durango was eastbound. The Durango was struck at a right angle and spun facing north into the south ditch of US Highway 2. The Durango began to roll in the south ditch where the driver was ejected and suffered fatal injuries. The female passenger suffered serious injuries and was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The juvenile was taken to Heart of America Medical Center treated and released. The crash is still under investigation by the NDHP.
