Bismarck — Representative Rick Becker (R) District 7, Bismarck, will announce proposed legislation to protect landowner rights as they pertain to carbon dioxide pipelines in North Dakota. Both Representative Becker and Senate candidate Jeff Magrum (R) District 8, will speak in support of landowners facing eminent domain abuses.
The carbon dioxide pipeline through North Dakota, planned by Summit Carbon Solutions, affects landowners in Cass, Richland, Sargent, Dickey, McIntosh, Logan, Emmons, Burleigh, Oliver, Morton, and Mercer Counties. Representative Becker will present legislation designed to provide protection to the landowners in these circumstances.
