MINOT — Our Redeemer’s Christian School triple sport standout Zachary Hendrickson signed a National Letter of Intent to Minot State University on Friday. Hendrickson was joined by his parents as he signed on with MSU’s Golf program.

Hendrickson is coming off a 3rd place finish with a total score of 157 in the NDHSAA State Class B Boys Individual Golf Tournament capping of a high school athletic career with multiple awards across football, basketball, and golf.

“It feels good, just got done with the State Tournament, and it's good to go to a new chapter,” said Hendrickson after signing. “I wanted to stay local and they gave me a good opportunity, got some family who went through there and some friends who are there.”

“I just wanted to play something at the next level, and golf gave me the best opportunity to do that,” added Hendrickson on why he chose golf over his other sports. Academically, Hendrickson says he plans on pursuing a finance degree at Minot State.
