Customers at Doc Holliday’s have impressive and tasty menu selections to choose from; that is, when they have a moment to do so while seated in captivating western-themed surroundings. From the boots on the ceiling to the wooden floor below, the historic frontier theme is an appealing eye opener.
Inspired by the famous dentist, gambler, and participant in the well-documented gunfight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, Arizona, a visit to Doc Holliday’s Roadhouse presents customers with a unique welcome—a collection of life-sized statues portraying a realistic look at the old frontier.
“It makes for quite an impression,” said Lori Tetrault, general manager. “Many people stop every day and take pictures of them. My owners brought a lot of stuff up from Arizona and the statues up from Mexico. Horses, Indians, cowboys, and even a stagecoach.”
Doc Holliday’s is in the process of adding more appeal to their attention-getting exterior, adding more items to their frontier and patriotic display.
“We have an exciting new front coming with two 80-foot flagpoles, one for the U.S. flag and one for Canada,” said Tetrault. “In the middle we’ll have the five flags of the armed forces.”
There’s more too, with a pair of Fredrick Remington bronze statues yet to be added. The hope is to complete the additions by Thanksgiving.

A perfect complement to the unique décor is a menu and service that keeps customers returning again and again.
“We have a signature hamburger, the Corral Burger, that is very delicious,” said Tetrault. “It is a half-pound patty, double cheese, tomato, onion, pickles, and our signature Doc’s Sauce. It’s a secret. We also have a bunch of specialty featured drinks like Williston Water and a Huckleberry Margarita.”
A renovated and enlarged outdoor patio dining area proved to be a favorite for dining spot customers this year, complimented by new furniture and artifacts carrying the Doc Holliday theme.
Doc Holliday’s Roadhouse is open from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It is located at 3901 2nd Avenue West in Williston.
