Vehicle No. 1: 2021 Kia Sorento
Driver No. 1: Female; 44 years old; Willis, TX; injury
Restraints: No seatbelt; airbag deployed
Charges: Pending
NARRATIVE:
The Kia was traveling northbound on ND Highway 18, enroute from Arthur, ND to an
undetermined location. The vehicle ran off the roadway to the right, struck a highway sign,
entered the east ditch, vaulted off ND Highway 200A, rolled, and came to rest in a cornfield.
The driver was ejected and transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo via Sanford AirMed.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
