NDHP Promotes Trooper

MINOT — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has promoted Trooper Joshua Gudvangen to Sergeant.

Gudvangen joined the NDHP after receiving an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts degree from Bismarck State College in 2014. He attended the Highway Patrol Academy, graduating in October 2015. Trooper Gudvangen was stationed in Stanley as a traffic enforcement trooper where he has served since graduation.

Sgt. Gudvangen will serve as a regional sergeant in Williston, effective January 24, 2022.
