Weather Conditions: Cloudy, Dark not lighted area
Crash Involvement: Vehicle vs Pedestrian
Agencies Involved: North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williston Police Department, Williams
County Sheriff’s Office, Williston Fire and Ambulance.
Vehicle No. 1: 1994 GMC Sierra
Driver No. 1: 16 year old Male, Williston, ND - Uninjured
Restraints: Seatbelt in Use
Pedestrian: Alex Vasquez
Hometown: Williston, ND
Gender/Age: 22 year old male
Injury: Seriously injured
NARRATIVE:
The GMC was traveling westbound on 54th St NW near 11th Ave E. A pedestrian was on the
north side of the roadway. The pedestrian was struck by the GMC. The pedestrian was
transported to CHI St. Alexius in Williston. He was later flown to Sandford Medical Center in
Fargo, ND.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
