MINOT – South Prairie School, located adjacent to U.S. Highway 83 a few miles south of this city, is undergoing an improvement project. Construction has been underway for several days on the large parking surface that serves the facility.
Superintendent Wayne Stanley said it was time for the aging parking lot to be remodeled.
“We’re getting it corrected,” explained Stanley. “Soft spots and things like that have been there 20-plus years and have never been done the right way.”
The improvements are expected to be completed long before South Prairie resumes classes and other activities in the fall.
