MINOT – It won’t be long before pool enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the Roosevelt Park swimming pool. Maintenance workers were installing a new liner, filling the pool, and prepping it for the summer season earlier this week.
According to a spokesperson for Minot Parks, the pool is tentatively set to open to the public the first week of June, barring any unforeseen delays.
Several lifeguards are already lined up to work the pool. A lack of lifeguards in Bismarck has already resulted in the announced closure of two pools in that city. The Roosevelt Park pool sees several hundred visitors per day throughout the summer.
