Update – May 15, 2023:
We have conferred with the family of the victim of this incident and can now release his name. The Victim is identified as 32-year-old Greyson Sletto, of Willow City North Dakota. We improperly listed the victim’s home as Minot in the last release.
After revieing this case with the Ward County States Attorney’s Office, police have charged Travis McDermott with the additional charge of Manslaughter, a class B felony.
Police are investigating the circumstances around the shooting that occurred at the Original Bar and Night Club in the early morning hours of May 14, 2023. This incident left a 32-year-old male dead. Travis McDermott is being held on the charge of Reckless Endangerment – Extreme Indifference with a Weapon, as the Ward County States Attorneys review this case for further charges.
