NARRATIVE: Jayce Thomas was traveling eastbound on ND Highway 66 in rural Towner
County. Thomas crossed the centerline and traveled through the westbound lane of traffic,
entered the north ditch, struck, and vaulted over a field approach, and overturned multiple
times. His motor vehicle caught fire after coming to final rest facing south in the north ditch.
Brittney Beck was fully ejected and pronounced deceased on-scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
