BISMARCK – The North Dakota State Senate narrowly passed a bill Thursday that increases the miles for the radius of membership for credit unions.
Senate Bill 2266 initially increased the radius of credit unions’ membership from 75 miles to 250 miles. Tthe committee amended it to 125 miles.
The bill passed by a vote of 24 to 23 and will be sent to the House for consideration.
