Crash Kills Tioga Man

EPPING – A two vehicle crash four miles west of here resulted in the death of a 66-year-old man from Tioga. His identity has not yet been released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. 

The accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday when a 2004 Peterbilt driven by a 43-year-old Choteau, Mont. man failed to yield at an intersection on the gravel roadway and struck a 2020 Ford F-350 on the driver’s side. The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Peterbilt was not injured. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.

UPDATE 7/21/2022: The deceased has been identified at Randall Moe, 66, Tioga. The driver of the Peterbilt was Donnie Wurz, 43, Choteau, Mont.
