BURLINGTON — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the westbound lanes of Highway 2 near Burlington were closed Sunday evening after a semi rolled.
According to the NDHP, Gurjeet Sohal, 33, Regina, SK was driving a 2017 Freightliner and pulling a trailer. Road conditions on Hwy 2 were poor due to freezing rain and snow. Sohal lost control of his vehicle about four miles west of Burlington and rolled.
Sohal was not injured. Both westbound lanes of Hwy 2 were shut down for approximately 4.5 hours until the truck/trailer was removed from the highway. He was cited for care required.
