Tammy Miller release

Doug Burgum’s Lt. Governor Tammy Miller Launches Campaign for Governor
Miller is a Business Leader Who Will Keep North Dakota’s Growth and Success Going

Lt. Governor Tammy Miller launched her campaign for Governor today vowing to build on the successes of the Burgum administration and keep North Dakota’s growth and success going.

“As a business leader, I created jobs and made every dollar count,” Tammy Miller said. “As Lt. Governor, I worked with Governor Burgum to grow the economy, cut taxes, balance budgets, reduce regulation and fight the Biden administration. When I’m governor we will keep the momentum going and take the state to the next level. We’re just getting started!”

Tammy Miller grew up cleaning toilets and stocking shelves at the family business – she even defended the store from robbers with her shotgun. She is a CPA and started her career in public accounting. Tammy later joined a small electrical distribution company and worked her way up to become its CEO – creating thousands of jobs along the way. North Dakota voters have shown a clear preference for outsiders and business leaders from President Donald Trump to Governor Burgum. Miller would continue this tradition of leadership.
