Minot, ND – Minot Resident Aaron West announced today that he is seeking the North Dakota Republican Party’s 2024 endorsement and nomination for election as one of District 40’s state House of Representatives.
Aaron is the current Secretary of the local District 40 GOP district committee, and past Chairman of the Northwest district for the North Dakota Young Republicans. He describes himself as a Fiscal Conservative, Pro-Life, Pro-Second Amendment, and a Strong Supporter of our Local Communities Law Enforcement Agencies and First Responders. “I am extremely motivated to address the challenges that currently face our local communities, such as the rise in tax rates, The rise in crime, and our current educational issues.” “I look forward to hearing from our community about their concerns and what they expect most from those representing them in Bismarck.”
Aaron Resides in Minot with his wife, Samantha, who currently works for the City of Minot, and their three children, who attend public school in the Minot area. Aaron has been employed with the Ward County Detention Center since 2014. He is a proud member of the F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police) and the S.A.R. (Sons of the American Revolution).
The primary election is on June 11th, and the general election is on November 5th.
