MINOT AIR FORCE BASE - Team Minot will be holding a large-scale exercise called
Warbird Week from Aug. 7-11, 2023, to provide training and test the 5th Bomb Wing’s
readiness in a variety of real-world scenarios.
During this time, individuals can expect intermittent gate closures and disrupted hours of
operation at facilities base-wide. The 5th Medical Group facility will be closed on Thursday,
Aug. 10, with potential for irregular hours throughout the remainder of the week.
Citizens of Minot AFB and the city of Minot can expect to see heightened activity on or near
Minot AFB, which can lead to an increase in noise throughout the day and night.
