MINOT – Two highly visible renovation projects on South Broadway have captured the attention of motorists on the city’s busiest roadway, causing many to wonder what’s in store for those locations.
The old Tractor Supply Company store, originally a Red Owl grocery, located on the opposite side of Broadway from Starbucks, is in the process of becoming Carpet One, a flooring store that is currently located on the lower level of I. Keating Furniture World.
A spokesperson for I. Keating said an opening date for the new South Broadway location of Carpet One is not certain but it is anticipated a late August opening is possible.
Further south of Broadway, on the northeast corner of South Broadway and 18th Avenue intersection, work is progressing on what was previously the Captain’s Cove seafood restaurant. The new facility will be a Mexican restaurant. No opening date has been announced.
