Ribbon Cutting for Sawyer Bridge Project

Minot – Completion of the Sawyer Bridge project is now finished and we want to celebrate
this big milestone connected to the rural reaches of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection
Project. The bridge demolition started in April of 2022 and construction of bridge was completed
in the spring of 2023. This is the first of three bridge projects planned as part of flood protection
in the Mouse River Basin.
The ribbon cutting will take place on Monday, July 10th @ 1:00 p.m. at the rural bridge location at
Ward County Road 23 over the Mouse River at the north edge of Sawyer.
