New entrance location for the City of Minot landfill will be opening on Monday
morning.
Our sanitation department has announced that Monday, July 24th, the new
entrance to the landfill will be open for utilization, and the existing entrance location
will be closed.
4450 37th Ave SW Minot, ND, is the address of the new entrance, which is ¾ of a
mile west of the water tower. Relocation of the second scale to the new entrance
will follow this transition.
The new Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop site will also be opening along
with the new entrance. The relocation of this facility will allow residents to drop off
household quantities of unwanted items such as paints, stains, and cleaning
supplies year-round.
The landfill is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
