New Courts Open at Roosevelt Park

MINOT – Eight new pickleball courts are open for play at Roosevelt Park. The courts replaced three aging tennis courts at the park.

Resurfaced, painted, and striped, the new facility is a testament to the rising popularity of pickleball.

Minot Parks installed two official pickleball courts at Riverside Park in 2019 but requests for more pickleball courts led to the renovation of the tennis courts at Roosevelt Park.

Pickleball is sometimes described as a mixture of tennis and ping-pong and is played by people of all ages and skill levels.
