MINOT – Whatever caused several Trinity Hospital employees to report feeling nauseous last Friday remains unknown. About a dozen nursing staff on the hospital’s 3rd floor were evaluated in the Emergency Trauma Center when they began feeling dizzy and nauseous. None were admitted.
As a precautionary measure, patients and staff in the Pediatric Unit were temporarily relocated elsewhere in the hospital. The Minot Fire Department and Montana Dakota Utilities investigated but sensors placed throughout the area returned normal readings.
“It was back to normal later Friday and over the weekend too,” said Mary Muhlbradt, community relations coordinator. “It’s kind of weird they couldn’t figure out what caused those symptoms.”
There have been no additional reports of patients, staff, or visitors experiencing symptoms since the original incident on Friday.
