NARRATIVE: A 2019 Chevy Silverado was traveling westbound on Highway 2 near mile
marker 73 when it ran off the road and into the north ditch. The pickup then struck a fence
before coming to rest. The driver of the pickup, a 70 year old male from New Town, was
transported via ambulance to Tioga Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
