More Honors for MSU Women’s Hockey

Seven Players Named Academic All-Americans  

MINOT – The Minot State women’s hockey team continues to rack up accolades following a stellar season on the ice and in the classroom.  

Today, the ACHA honored seven Beaver players for their exceptional efforts as all-around student-athletes, naming each as an Academic All-American.  

Receiving the honor were senior forwards Ensley Fendelet, Megan Norris, Sydney Spicer, and Alisha O’Hara, along with junior forward Riley Ball, and junior defensemen Aspen Cooper and Anna German.  

To earn the honor, a player must be at least a junior and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.  

The honor comes for the second straight year for Fendelet, who is majoring in Elementary Education, Norris, who is majoring in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Spicer, who is majoring in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, and O’Hara, who is majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders.  

This is the first year that Ball, who is majoring in Nursing, Cooper, who is majoring in Elementary Education, and German, who is majoring in Nursing, have been named Academic All-Americans.
