BOSTON, MASS. -- The third-ranked Minot State University women’s hockey team defeated second-ranked Midland University (Nebraska) 1-0 Sunday afternoon to advance to the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 1 championship game.
Jordan Kulbida scored the lone goal of the game at the 5:36 mark of the third period. She was assisted by Sydney Spicer.
Minot State outshot Midland 40-36 with MSU goalie Haylie Biever getting the shutout.
