NARRATIVE: On 12/29/2022 at 6:36 P.M., a resident of Missouri River Correctional Center walked away from the facility. He was identified as Trevis Tofi Tessaro. Highway Patrol was notified by MRCC staff to investigate. Tessaro was apprehended shortly after by Highway Patrol Troopers at a local gas station at 9:55 P.M. Tessaro was taken into custody and taken to the State Penitentiary for incarceration. Charges will be filed with Burleigh County for Escape.
It is not believed that Tessaro had any help in his escape.
