Driver No. 1: 18 year old male, Zahl, ND, Fatality
Restraints: Helmet in use

Vehicle No. 2: 2013 Freightliner Semi
Driver No. 2: 30 year old male, Scobey, MT, uninjured
Restraints: Seat belt
NARRATIVE: The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 near Zahl. A semi was turning left onto Highway 50 from 139th Ave NW. The motorcycle struck the trailer of the semi as the semi was making its turn to go westbound. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the semi was uninjured. The names will be released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
