Vehicle No. 2: 2013 Spartan Pumper Fire Truck
Driver No. 2: Fargo Fire Fighter, Male, 39, not injured

NARRATIVE: The 2013 Pumper Fire Truck was north on 45th Street South in lane three and
was responding to a structure fire. The Fire Truck had it’s red and white emergency lights on
as it proceeded through the intersection of 40th Avenue South. The Fire Truck also had it’s
siren activated and utilized an air horn at the intersection. The Honda motorcycle was north
on 45th Street South in lane 2. The motorcycle merged into lane three, colliding with the Fire
Truck. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected and sustained serious injuries from the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The names of the
drivers will be released at a later date.
