Fargo -- Representative Jim Kasper, a house member from District 46 in Fargo, has announced that he is seeking to become next House Majority Leader in the State Legislature. Kasper has served in the legislature since 2000 and is currently the Chairman of the Government and Veteran’s Affairs committee. He also serves on the Industry, Business and Labor committee.
When not serving in the legislature, Kasper is President and CEO of the Asset Management Group, Inc., a Fargo-based employee benefits company.
“I am proud to announce that I am running for House Majority Leader. Having served in the House for 11 Legislative sessions, I am confident that my experience and previous leadership appointments makes me a qualified candidate for House Majority Leader. I make my legislative decisions based off of the wants and needs of my constituents, what's best for my district and North Dakota as a whole, and the Christian conservative principles that I live my life by. I will continue to do so if elected Majority Leader,” said Kasper.
