MANDAN — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says someone died in a single-vehicle front-end crash with an embankment in Mandan early Saturday afternoon.
According to the NDHP, Randy Spitzer was driving a Jeep northwest down the exit ramp from Interstate 94 onto ND Highway 1806. The Jeep was traveling in an erratic manner and drove through the intersection and into the west ditch of ND Highway 1806.
The Jeep impacted an embankment, and the driver was ejected and later died of his injuries at Sanford Hospital.
The crash is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
