MINOT — The Minot Fire Department responded late Monday evening to a house fire in northeast Minot with “flames showing” as reported by a neighbor.
The first fire units on scene found the single-story residence with fire coming from the front door area and heavy smoke inside the structure. Fire crews made an initial fire attack and completed a primary search of the residence. They did not find any occupants inside the home.
Crews extinguished the fire and overhauled the scene; all utilities were shut off to the building.
There were no injuries to firefighters or occupants in this incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
