GRAND FORKS — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man was injured after running into a snow plow.

According to the NDHP, the plow was northbound on I-29 coming from the Demers Exit in a convoy clearing the highway at about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday during blizzard conditions.

The snow plow was driving at approximately 30 mph when Jeffrey Leiberg, 48, of Manvel, stuck it from behind.

Leiberg sustained injuries from the crash and was cited for striking a snow plow while in commission of plowing the roads.

The crash remains under investigation.
