McKENZIE COUNTY — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a teenage boy died in a collision with a semi Tuesday morning.
According to the NDHP, the boy was driving a Toyota Avalon on Highway 23 near Watford City when he lost control on the icy road and collided with an oncoming Peterbilt. He was ejected from the Toyota and pronounced dead at the scene.
That portion of Highway 23 is temporarily closed.
The crash is under investigation.
