MINOT—The North Dakota State Fair (NDSF) earned international and regional recognition at industry conferences. At the 131st annual International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) convention, fairs from around the world submit entries. This year NDSF received six IAFE Awards of Excellence.
Each category being judged at the IAFE convention focuses on a different aspect of specific events and event planning.
“We are honored to recognize organizations exceeding in competitive exhibits at their fair. Those receiving these prestigious awards were selected by our panel of judges based on their creativity, concept development, promotion, innovation and adaptability,” Brittney Harper, Member Services Coordinator, said.
The North Dakota State Fair earned:
General Manager of the NDSF Renae Korslien stated, “We are so honored to be recognized on both levels for the work we love to do for the North Dakota State Fair. Each year we do our best to create an event that is the showcase for North Dakota. With just under 40,000 competitive exhibits on display in 2021, we have so much to be proud of as a fair.”
