MINOT—A crane lifted an iconic B-52 to the top of the Magic City Discovery Center's Magic Climber on Friday, Dec. 17.
This will be one of twelve exhibit galleries in the center. Construction on the 28,000-square foot building is progressing, and contractors will work to fully enclose the building now that the B-52 is in place.
This is the first of three phases of installation for the Magic Climber. Interior work will take place over the winter months with an anticipated completion date of June 1, 2022.
After the construction is finished, installation of the more than 150 interactive exhibits will begin. The center is scheduled to open in November 2022.
