The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for western and central North Dakota through 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Winds are expected to gust out of the northwest at over 60 miles per hour in the Williston, Crosby, and New Town areas. Bottineau, Minot, Washburn, and Bismarck are all forecast to see peak gusts in excess of 50 mph as a fast moving cold front sweeps across the state.

Snowfall is expected to be light with the highest probability along the Canadian border.
