City of Minot release
Community members are invited to attend a series of public meetings to
help the Minot City Council create a strategic plan for the city.
The meetings will be held in the former Minot City Council chambers, located at 515
2nd Ave. SW in the former City Hall. The schedule includes four meeting times:
- Monday, April 15 at 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 16 at 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Guided discussion topics include:
- Strategic plan
- Community Satisfaction Survey results: City services
- Community Satisfaction Survey results: Quality of life
- Facilities and funding

The community meeting series is hosted by Raftelis Consulting Group. To encourage
greater community participation in the discussions, City Council members and City
officials will not attend the meetings. The consultants will collect public input and
the results will be used to guide the annual Minot City Council retreat scheduled to
take place in July.
Attendance for the full 90-minute session is encouraged for guided discussion.
However, message boards will be available if only quick comments are possible.
