MINOT – Souris Valley Animal Shelter, northwest North Dakota’s largest non-profit animal rescue organization, is proud to announce the return of their annual gala to be held April 13, 2024, 6 to 10 pm, at the Clarion Hotel in Minot. The gala is their largest annual fundraising event.
The theme of this year’s gala is “Masquerade in the Magic City” and will include silent and live auctions, keynote remarks from the executive director and the SVAS board of directors, plated dinner and entertainment by magician/hypnotist duo Misty & The SandMan. Emcee for the gala will be Minot
businessman and former City of Minot city assessor Kevin Ternes.
The fundraising goal for this year’s gala is $100,000, and all funds raised will be used to support the ongoing operations of Souris Valley Animal Shelter and its various programs including animal adoptions, rescue readers, the Severson-Ahart Community Clinic, emergency animal housing and the community pantry.
