ND Highway Patrol release
NARRATIVE: Colonel Brandon Solberg would like to announce the Accreditation Public
Comment Portal for the North Dakota Highway Patrol now open. Since 1989, the NDHP has
been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
and has received meritorious recognition for being accredited for more than 15 continuous
years. The NDHP must comply with more than 350 professional public safety standards to
maintain its accreditation status.
Through the public comment portal, which will be open for 60 days (March 4 - May 3, 2024),
members of the community can provide feedback regarding the department’s performance and
quality of service.
